Our Christmas this year was amazing. It didn't go exactely as planned because of the huge snowstorm that hit that morning but we just rolled with things and everything turned out great. My family was supposed to come down to our house Christmas morning to open gifts and have breakfast, but "the weather outside was frightful" so they ended up staying home and it was just the three of us. I got up early and woke the boys up around 7:30am so we could open presents. Seeing Carson's face when he was surrounded with new toys was so much fun! He didn't really understand the unwrapping part yet, but once he could see the toys he started to shake with excitement! Mike and I were supposed to stick to a smaller budget for each other this year, so I got him Ticket To Ride Europe (a fun board game he wanted) along with stuffing his stocking with a few things, but he got me Victoria Secret lingerie (okay, that was probably for him too! haha) and suprised me with a beautiful white gold journey necklace with pink and white sapphires. He said that he spent the extra money to thank me for being a great wife (awwww). I have the best husband ever! Later that day we headed down to Mike's parents. Along with many other gifts, Carson got a Little People Car that is definatly his favorite. Jeff and Debbie also gave all the girls sewing machines (YAY!!) complete with Project Runway sewing kits to go with and are taking the whole family on a snowmobiling trip in February. After all the fun we made the treacherous trip home through the blizzarding snow. Here are some pictures of the day-videos still to come!
