Every since the day Mike and I were married, I thought it would be awesome if we worked out together. Probably lame, I know, but doesn't the family that sweats together, stay together???
Well, tonight it happened. For the first time in 4 years, 11 months, and 1 day, MIKE AND I WENT RUNNING TOGETHER!!! YAY!!! (with Carson along in the stroller).
It was everything I dreamed it would be. Running together, pushing each other to go faster, sweating in the hot, 6 o'clock pm sun...okay, in all honesty we only ran for about 10min. BUT STILL...it was a solid 10min and the most important thing is that we did it together. Mike even wore his EXPENSIVE running shoes for the first time that he bought back in March.
I count it a miracle that he wore them at all.
Hopefully I won't have to wait another 5 years for this to happen again!
