PAINTING PARTY!

This past Wednesday we were FINALLY able to get the painting done for our nursery. I have been excited to get this done for months and it I think it turned out very well. Jason, Thomas and Tanner were so nice and came down from Salt Lake to help Mike get things done. The furniture will be back this week (the boys took it home to refinish it) and once that's in place then I can get the shelves, picture frames, valence and vinyl lettering put up. It should all be completed in the nick of time! I still have over 5 weeks left before Carson is due, but with my high blood pressure the doctor said he will most likely come early...either on his own or they will induce me depending on how things go. We are so excited to meet this little guy!

CHRISTMAS 2007

I'm a little behind on my blogging, so I'm just now getting up pictures from Christmas....but I figure that it's better late than never! This year my family was in Canada on my grandma's farm for the holidays. Mike and I weren't able to go, so we spent both Christmas Eve and Christmas Day with his family. On Christmas Eve, we had a nice dinner and a spiritual lesson together...and then Mike's brother broke out the ROCKBAND! For those of you who haven't played before, you are definately missing out. It's like Guitar Hero, but you can also play the drums and sing along with playing the guitar. Mike, Jason, and Thomas had so much fun playing, that they stayed up the ENTIRE night rocking out! Then on Christmas morning we opened presents together (Carson got more presents than Mike and I and he isn't even born yet, haha) and spent the whole day visiting with different family members. We also got to talk to my brother-in-law Shawn who is currently serving in the Taichung, Taiwan mission. It was a busy day, but we had so much fun being together and visiting with everyone. Temple Square 2007

Here are some pictures from our annual trek to see the Temple Square lights at the beginning of December. This year we went with our good friends Julie and Jared Burr and their two boys Joshua and Jaxon. It was so cold the night that we went, but definately worth braving the weather for!
