Tales from the Midwest
We recently returned from a 5 day vacation to Macomb, Illinois, or should I say The Burning Apocolypse as it's called by those who live there. It's really not that bad...it's just literally in the middle of nowhere. We flew out to attend the wedding of Mike's cousin Jennie who got married in the Nauvoo temple. Jennie is also my ex-roommate and the one who introduced Mike and I. Even though Mike isn't a big fan of weddings, we all had a great time visiting with family and just getting away for a few days. Below is a slideshow of our trip!

I think Mike is the luckiest person I've EVER met. I never win anything, but Mike always does. Included in his spoils have been plane tickets, a trip to San Francisco, various electronic toys, and most recently....

This giant Pongo dog (from 101 Dalmations) was displayed at Best Buy for awhile and a few days ago they decided to give it to one of the employees. I feel bad for everyone else entered in the drawing....they didn't know what they were up against. Good Job Mike! Carson will love this when he gets older!
