This is what happened when I was up in Park City this week. I was minding my own business, just taking a shower, when I halfway stepped out to check on Carson who was in the adjoining room watching cartoons while I got ready. As I went to step back in the shower, over the side of the tub, I slipped and caught myself with the back of my knee on the metal edge of the tub.
Don't try this at home...it really hurts! This picture doesn't do my bruise justice. It's pretty black and nasty looking. That's what I get for trying to be a responsible, attentive mom! ;)

that is 1 reason i like shower curtains...no metal edge when you fall out just a wet slimy shower curtain (that will come down on you rod and all)
