Having a baby has definately changed my life. I wouldn't trade anything in the world for my precious boy, but some days it feels impossible to get anything done. For example...
BEFORE:
A typical morning before Carson came went something like this...wake up around 8, eat breakfast while watching the Today show, take a long hot shower, get comfy at my desk, work for a few hours without any distractions, pay bills online, etc...all before lunch
AFTER:
Now a typical morning is: ...wake up to Carson cooing in his crib around 7am, go greet and pick him up, change diaper and get him dressed, feed baby, eat breakfast while Carson sits in his swing, play together on floor for a few minutes, transfer baby to bouncer and carry upstairs to the bathroom, take a quick shower while singing to Carson so he doesn't think I left him alone, get 20 min of work done at my desk with Carson on my lap shaking a toy with one hand and typing with the other, feed baby again, hunt all over the house for pacifier, put baby down for a nap, finally get back to work and type furiously to get as much done as possible before Carson wakes up again, etc...
Like I said before, life is different with a baby but along with all the craziness comes immense happiness and pure joy whenever I stare into those beautiful blue eyes.
